We are happy you've chosen Northwest Center for Implants and Periodontics to help you. Dr. Rabin and his staff are dedicated to providing you with excellent periodontal care, and will do their best to make you as comfortable as possible during treatment.
We are dedicated to helping you enhance your health, function and appearance. Where periodontics have become an art and science. We believe one's overall health is an extension of ones oral health. Therefore, we help guide you to make your choice about your care.
Dr. Rabin and his staff's goal is to work closely with your general dentist to help you attain the highest level of dental health you choose to reach so that you will come to realize the joy and satisfaction of a pleasing, comfortable and functional smile.

Meet Dr. Rabin
Dr. Rabin graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1971. He then spent two years in the United States Air Force, one year of which involved specialty training in oral surgery, Periodontics and Endodontics.
In 1975, he earned a certificate of Proficiency in Periodontics from the University of Washington. Dr. Rabin elected to remain part-time on the faculty at the University of Washington until 1983, while opening his full-time private practice in Kirkland in 1976. His areas of special interest include periodontal plastic surgery (cosmetic Periodontics) and implants.
Dr Rabin is a past president of the Washington State Society of Periodontology. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, Washington State Society of Periodontology, Seattle King County Dental Society, Washington State Dental Society and Alpha Omega Fraternity.
He has also been involved in developing various educational programs designed to increase public awareness of periodontal disease. He is a mentor for dental implant study clubs through which he trains and educates other dental professionals in all aspects of Periodontics. He lectures extensively in a quest to keep other dental professionals current and to promote excellence in dental care and oral health.
Dr. Rabin's personal interests include aerobic training, biking, tennis, skiing, hiking and camping. He has been actively involved in synagogue affiliations as Ritual Committee chairman and member of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Rabin has three grown children named, Johanna, Elisha and Michael, and two grand-daughters named Eliana and Miriam. His wife Tami handles his marketing and accounting and also works as an executive recruiter and Weight Watchers leader.

Meet the Staff
Dr. Rabin's staff is highly qualified and trained to give you the most complete and thorough periodontal care. Each staff member is dedicated to making sure every patient is comfortable and well-informed about all procedures and techniques. The staff's motto is that the patient comes first and that the patient's treatment must go smoothly from the first visit through on-going follow-up and maintenance care.

Teresa
Teresa is Dr. Rabin's office manager. She brings almost 25 years of dental experience to her position. She will take care of your insurance and other financial arrangements. Teresa grew up on Vashon Island, but today she lives locally with her three sons. She worked as a team member with Cindy for many years before joining Dr. Rabin's practice. Not only is she very experienced, she is a seasoned team member. Teresa worked for 15 years as a dental assistant. She is intimately familiar with the process of helping patients understand what they can expect.

Cindy
Cindy has over 32 years experience in the field of dentistry. She has worked as a dental assistant, surgical assistant, certified anesthesia assistant (OMAAP). She now works mostly in the front office as a patient coordinator and facilitator for Dr. Rabin's study club. Although, she will assist during some of the more involved procedures.

Martha
Martha is Dr. Rabin's chair-side assistant. She brings five years of dental experience to her position assisting Dr. Rabin in all surgeries and procedures. It is her job to make your experience as comfortable and painless as possible. She will instruct you in oral hygiene and inform you of all pre-operation and post-operation requirements. Martha lives in Bellevue with her two children, having selected the northwest as her first choice when moving from Mexico. She is fluent in Spanish.

Shawn
Shawn is Dr. Rabin's longest-standing staff member, having begun working with Dr. Rabin in 1984 when she completed dental hygiene school. In addition to regular periodontal hygiene, Shawn specializes in the newer technique of Perioscopy™. With 22 years of dedication, Shawn has a loyal core of patients who appreciate her excellent chair-side techniques and her sweet and gentle personality.
